Celtics Fined for Contact with Durant's Family

SI.com reports that 3 teams, including the Celtics, were fined for having contact with Oden, Durant, or their families.

• The Boston Celtics were fined $30,000 as a result of contact that took place between executive director Danny Ainge and Durant's family members at a Big 12 tournament game on March 10.

Even though Danny said he was seated next to them by accident and later, Durant's mom would say that she didn't know who the nice man was who was seated next to them, it made no difference in the fine being levied. The Bobcats and Warriors were the other two teams that were fined.
