Celtics.com has an update from practice along with the Ratliff news. Al sat out practice today with a sore right hamstring. According to Doc, he has been complaining about it for awhile now. After all the questions about his toughness last season, I think he has answered them this season. He was back playing just 2 weeks after an emergency appendectomy. And now we learn that he has been playing (and playing very well, I might add)with a sore right hamstring. Remember, this is what sidelined Gomes for several games. Hopefully he won't have to sit out any games and it won't be a problem.
Also mentioned is the fact that Perk is struggling with his conditioning after sitting out with plantar fasciitis. His foot isn't causing pain but he is unable to move as well as he would like and is still trying to get his conditioning and timing back. It will take a little time. I expect him to come on strong in the second half of the season.
