Iverson to Denver Deal Close

Fox Colorado is reporting that a deal that would send Iverson to Denver is close.

A source familiar with negotiations sas it would be a complicated trade involving at least three teams and at least five players. In addition, the Nuggets would likely have to give up both of their first round draft picks in the next draft.

Danny has said that he would be happy to facilitate the trade by being a third team so if there are at least 3 teams, it is possible the Celtics could still be involved if they can get a quality player back. The Raptors and the Bobcats have also said that they would be willing to help facilitate a trade or it may be another team altogether involved. The article says that it could happen as soon as today so stay tuned.

I think we may be involved in this mutli team trade somehow. Like you mention, Ainge has stated that he'll help facilitate a multi team trade, even if we aren't the major players in the trade. Maybe he's out to get another draft pick.
