Celtics Green and Loy's Place joins Celtics fans from all over Celtics Nation wishing Larry Bird a happy 50th birthday.

Fans of the Celtics through the 80's have many fond memories of Larry's illustrious career. Who can forget the duel with Dominique in the game with Atlanta? Or the steal in the game against Detroit? Or any number of clutch performances that brought us such joy as Celtics fans. In the words of a coach we would rather forget: "Larry Bird is not walking through that door." But the memories we have of all his years in Boston are still here and very much alive.

To celebrate Larry's milestone birthday, NBA TV will be having programming from his career all day today. You can check out their programming schedule here. All Bird all day long.
