| Tony Allen missed practice today to attend a status hearing on his aggravated assault case. His court case was originally supposed to have been heard in August, but the case was delayed indefinintely due to the judge's illness. A new status hearing will be November 21 and hopefully then a trial date will be set. He will not have to attend the November 21 hearing.
Danny had said that he was waiting to see how Tony's legal problems worked out to decide on picking up his option. It is obvious now that his legal status will still be up in the air on October 31 when Danny needs to make that decision. You have to wonder if Danny will pick his option up or not.
Also reported is that Pierce will travel to NY with the team but is not expected to play. West (infected toe), Scal (injured shoulder) and Ratliff (sore back) will all stay home when the team plays in New York. [More] source: Globe
