Celtics Sanitize Facilities after Infections to West and Pierce

October 27, 2006 The Celtics have announced that all their facilities will be professionally cleaned and all players tested for bacterial infections as a result of the infections that sidelined first Delonte and then Pierce.
As a result of the infections, all Celtics players and basketball operations staff are also being tested for bacterial infections. It's not as uncommon as you may think, and many college and professional teams have had issues with bacteria infections in the past. Players have thrown out personal hygiene items as part of the sanitization process. Good that they take things like this seriously as it would be a real bummer to have players out one after the other with infections.
Also in this article it relates that Doc is still adding things to the playbook and today added a new defensive set. That is promising. Now if he would just work on it instead of expecting the team to pick it up while working on the offense.
