| I was looking up some information on Kevin Eastman, our new assistant coach (who is actually our former assistant coach), and came across a video that he put out titled "Multiple Player Chair Drills."
This just hit my funny bone. When Danny signed Dan Dickau, almost every article about it included the phrase, "he can't even guard a chair." I saw that phrase so much that it was embedded in my brain so that when I think about our recently departed Dickau, I think about him attempting to guard a chair.
There is hope for him after all. If he would get Kevin Eastman's video, he too can learn how to guard a chair. It may vastly improve his game... This may be the reason that Kevin Eastman was brought back. We may need some remedial work with our current players on the fine art of guarding a chair. We all know that not many of them played much defense last year. Let it not be said of any of our players in the future that they "can't even guard a chair" as I am sure they will be getting much needed experience with this fine skill from our newest coach.
