You have to love the attitude of these kids. West welcomes competition and is just happy that we are improving our team. And they are all such hard workers. Perk says there is no maybe he will be ready for training camp and I believe him. His work ethic is second to none. What a GREAT group of young players on this team.

WALTHAM – Delonte West isn’t living under a rock. He saw that the Celtics picked up two new point guards on draft day.

Some guys would be annoyed. Others would be upset. West seems excited about it.

"You have to have competition in the organization in order for the team to grow. We're heading in the right direction," said West, who watched the Celtics summer league mini-camp from a stationary bike in the corner of the gym at The Sports Authority Training Center at HealthPoint Tuesday afternoon.

Delonte is looking at this the way he should be looking at it. No sulking, no pity party, no grumbling to managment... just go out and prove that you are better than Telfair and Rondo.
