BOSTON - The invitations were mailed weeks ago. There was no need to RSVP. A Sweet 16 championship had been guaranteed. It was just a matter of time.
Yesterday at Boston Garden, the Celtics showed how to throw a party.
They didn't just blow out the candles on their way to clinching their 16th championship. They extinguished the misguided Rockets 114-97 to win the final series, 4-2
