Wish we could nix the trade and keep Foye. I do not want to send this guy away. I want Randy Foye on this team. Maybe Dickau's achilles will flare up and can't pass his physical. Deal cannot be completed. We keep Foye!!!

I agree. elfair may not be the type of player Foye can be. However, the fact we coulda had Gay gets me alittle miffed.

Right. I would have been ecstatic with either Foye or Gay.

Well, getting rid of Raef and getting Ratliff allows us to keep our big men in the paint. No more PF/C's camping out on the perimeter shooting three's. Ratliff is aging and injury prone, but he's a shot blocker when healthy.

Telfair is still trying to find his game and identity in the NBA. He better find it here. I was once high on him, but those feelings dropped while he was with Portland. Hope he can get my hopes high again.

Danny said that he wouldn't take Gay even if he slipped to us. Gorman said that Rondo was on Danny's top 7 and he was ecstatic to get him.

We also got Leon Powe in the second round.

Now we wait for July 1....

I wonder what is up with that!? Gay looks like a steal at the number he was taken. I would hate for him to turn around and be another Pierce. You know, slipped to 10 should have have been top 5.

I think what turned Ainge off on Gay was his personality. Gay lacks that killer's mentality or that bulldog mentality. I'm sure the Brain Doctor had something to say about that.
