It doesn't really strike me as a surprise that Jefferson didn't do well on the psychological tests that the Blazers had him go through at the last minute prior to the draft. You can sense that Jefferson is not the sharpest tool in the shed (same goes for Gerald Green, BTW). But that's what's really good about sports--you don't have to be some bright student to excel in sports. But I'm certainly glad the Blazers didn't draft Big Al Jefferson. It all worked out for us, which eludes me to think that there's some luck brewing in Boston and we could be in for another banner to hang up in the rafters.
 

Al is definitely the type of guy you profile as a headcase upon first laying eyes on him However the articles I posted show a contrast between the two views people have on him.

As long as he sticks to his word and works hard to come back strong next season (no pulling a Vin Baker), then we all can aleviate our concerns and watch him play the ball we know he can.
