The 2005-06 Boston Celtics saw their season come to a close on April 19 with a victory over the Miami Heat at the TD Banknorth Garden. But with this conclusion came a realization that summer plans were about to be made to get ready for the 2006-07 campaign.
I agree with the prescriptions. Both Pierce and Wally need to learn how to use the pick and roll. Its amazing how almost every team in the league uses this art except us. With amount of shooters we have (Pierce, Wally, Delonte, Raef, etc), it can be quite a weapon.
Jefferson does have an elbow jumper which he hasn't used all of last year and much of his rookie season. But he does have it in his arsenal. Once he brings it out, it'll open up things in the post.
With Orien, I'd prescribe for him to work on penetrating and finishing at the rim. He dances around with the ball too much and he doesn't get anywhere. With his body, strength, and ability to drive, he needs to attack the basket more.
