Loy's Place Blog & Celtics Green Forums are independent Celtics fan sites created by Boston Celtics fanatic, Loyalist. An early incarnation of this site was formed in 1998/99 by two friends, C=G and Loyalist, and was known as Celtics Nation (not to be confused with a later site Celtic Nation). By 2003/04, after many changes in formats and design, Celtics Green Forums was born with the help of volunteers, like Derrenmatts, CF00, and BCHistorian who were also dedicated fans of the Boston Celtics. Since then, we've had some key members join Team Celtics Green which include, Quinielabox, Celtic17, Roadrunner, and FLCeltsFan12. Many more have also been instrumental in the development and growth of our family.
Celtics Green consists of a Blog, Forum, and Myspace page. We rely on writers to volunteer their time and skills in developing a great fan site! We continue to grow and appeal to new fans and will continue to do so for a long, long time.
Our goal is to provide fans of the Boston Celtics with news, original content, and a meeting place with people of like minds. Our atmosphere is friendly and family oriented. We are not a "big time" professional site. We offer the average fan a voice from people who are fans. We make no pretenses to being a corporation as it is our mission to stay as un-corporate as possible.
However, we are partnered with many of the best known Celtics and Basketball sites around the net. We are always willing to be part of one of the biggest communities of fans on the internet and we will build friendships with anyone that shares our passion!
We truly "Bleed Green"!
